At West Mobile Baptist Church, our staff exists to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12). Each member of our team serves with a heart to help every believer grow in faith, live on mission, and build up the body of Christ.

We’re a diverse group with one shared goal—to lead, teach, and serve in a way that helps others know Jesus and make Him known. Whether through preaching, worship, discipleship, or daily support, our staff is here to come alongside you as we follow Christ together.

Kevin Cobb
Senior Pastor

Kevin was selected as our Senior Pastor in February of 2020 after serving over five years as our Worship and College Pastor. Kevin is married to April who is an ultrasonographer and they are parents to college students Tyler & Lainey. A native of Florala, Alabama, he holds degrees from Troy University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.


He was raised in church but never truly followed Christ until he was 26 years old. God called him into ministry while he was working as a systems operator in a nuclear plant. Kevin enjoys fishing, hunting, sports, music, and spending time with family.
